1. Flavors of Farmers Market – A Taste of LA History - This tour is produced by the Original Farmers Market in conjunction with Melting Pot Food Tours . This tour is a perfect introduction to one of L.A.’s most treasured landmarks and a destination for food lovers worldwide. This tour covers the complete history of Farmers Market and that of its longtime Market merchants and family legacies. Each tour includes a minimum of 4 generous tastes from the wealth of cafes and eateries, specialty shops and grocers in the Market, as well as the stories behind the food being tasted. Perfect for both small and large groups seeking an interactive, entertaining and delicious excursion!
- 1.25 hours (75 minutes) – 4 generous tastings – available for groups of 10-60 guests touring simultaneously.
- Available weekday mornings (start times from 9am-11:15am), afternoons (start times from 2pm-5pm) and early evenings (start times from 5pm- 6:45pm). Saturday and Sunday mornings only (start times from 9am- 11:00am).

2. Farmers Market Food & History Tour with Melting Pot Food Tours winds its way through the landmark Original Farmers Market and incorporates both generous tastings along with an insider’s perspective on the Market, its history and its diverse long-time merchants and tastemakers. Tastes range from L.A.’s highest rated doughnuts to pizza from L.A.’s first pizzeria, authentic Brazilian barbecue to Spanish gazpacho, Cajun jambalaya and more. Perfect for groups who desire a guided culinary experience at L.A.’s first and foremost foodie destination!
- 2.5 hours – 7 generous tastings – available for groups of 10-60 guests touring simultaneously
- Available weekday mornings (start times from 9am-10:30am), afternoons (start times from 2pm-5pm) and early evenings (start times from 5pm- 6:15pm). Saturday and Sunday mornings only (start times from 9am- 10:30am).

- Available daily, morning or afternoon. Evening tours available Monday through Thursday (start times from 5:00pm-6:00pm).

5. Melting Pot Food Tour of Old Pasadena – Abbreviated – This tour is essentially a shortened version of the tour above. Perfect for those short on time or seniors and others who are more comfortable with a shorter walk. Savory and sweet tastings along with a tea tasting or a visit to a California olive oil store.
- 2.25 hours – 4 stops - .75 mile walk – available for groups of 10-48 guests touring simultaneously.
- Available daily, morning or afternoon. Evening tours available Monday through Thursday (start times from 5pm-6:45pm).
- Retail: $65 adults
- Group rate: $48 plus 15% gratuity ($55 inclusive)
6. East LA Latin Flavors Food & Culture Tour - Travel off the beaten path to the Latin-American core of Los Angeles! On this tour we explore the heart of East L.A. and Boyle Heights where the most sought-after tortillerias, birrierias, and tamale kitchens in the city are found. Featured tastes are foods perhaps typically expected – yet extraordinarily prepared - from time-honored family recipes which when combined with the warmth and hospitality of the restaurateurs yield a truly unforgettable experience. Be inspired by stories of courage and fortitude from the owners and merchants encountered along the way, and discover the ease and convenience of riding between tour stops in the safe comfort of Metro Gold Line trains.
- 3.5 hours – 8 stops – 1 mile walk – available for groups of 10-30 guests touring simultaneously.
- Available Wednesday through Saturday, mornings or early afternoons; no evening tours or tours on Sunday.
- Retail: $75 adults
- Group rate: $59 plus 15% gratuity ($68 inclusive) – includes Metrorail fares
DEPOSITS/BILLING
- 25% non-refundable deposit for group reservations required at time of booking; payable by check, credit card or PayPal.
- Guaranteed guest count and balance of payment due 7 days prior to tour date; again payable by check, credit card or PayPal.
CANCELLATIONS/RESCHEDULES
- No refunds will be given for inclement weather or any other condition outside of Melting Pot Food Tours’ (MPFT) control, unless specifically indicated by MPFT.
- The following cancellation policy will apply:
- 7-10+ days prior to tour: forfeiture of deposit
- 3-6 days prior to tour: 50% cancellation fee
- 0-48 hours prior to tour: 100% cancellation fee
- Requests to reschedule tours are at the discretion of MPFT and can be accepted up to 10 days prior to a tour.
- Subject to a 25% rescheduling fee
- Reschedule date must be within 45 days of the original tour date
