Being a manager was the most rewarding job I ever had. Motivating someone to take a class that would improve their life forever made me feel great about the work I did.
When you work for TSMMA in any capacity, you are part of something bigger than yourself... You help people bring out their best and improve in ways they couldn’t on their own. Being a manager or instructor to me is one and the same. You make a living off bettering people’s lives. You help adults with health issues to restore their health, help a shy person gain self-esteem, teach a child to stand strong and help him blossom with confidence. This is my life, and I am financially successful while enjoying the experience of improving people’s lives.

Before I became a manager, I was in school and had a full-time job. There was one problem. I couldn’t stop thinking about my last martial arts class. One day, my Sensei said he noticed that I was training very hard, consistently, and that I had the potential to become an instructor. He offered me the opportunity of a lifetime, to become his manager.
I came to TSMMA as a paying student and now I was able to train every day and get paid to be there!
I went from being a student, to a manager, and then earned my black belt before becoming an owner/instructor of my own TSMMA school. It’s a life and career that I wouldn’t trade with a single human being on the planet! I feel lucky and blessed to be a part of such a great organization.
