Tied-back soldier beam retaining wall in Tiburon
Problem: Back yard was settling and moving, endangering the residence foundation.
Solution: RWR installed an engineered soldier beam lagging and tie-back retaining wall to stabilize the back yard.
Result: Homeowner enjoys freedom from worry, and enhanced property value.
New Foundation Installation In Zero Lot Line Conditions
Problem: Installation of new foundation on zero clearance lot in San Francisco, where excavation undermined neighbor’s foundation.
Solution:
It was necessary to underpin neighbor’s foundation with hand dug piers, before excavation commenced. Then a new foundation with retaining walls was installed using shotcrete.
Result: New foundation was ready for home construction, free of earth settlement issues with neighboring properties.
Tiburon Restaurant Piers & Structural Supports
Problem:Need to expand deck area over water at Tiburon restaurant
Solution:RWR drilled and installed under-water concrete piers reinforced with galvanized cages
Result:Successful completion of project.
Landslide Repair In Marin
Problem:Landslide into corner of residence in Marin
Solution:Removal of slide debris. Installation of new soldier beam retaining wall and reconstruction of hillside
Result:Owner was able to reoccupy their home, and property value was restored.
