My interest was piqued and on my return to South Africa I carried the thought in the back of my mind that I would love to go over to the USA and check it out. My plans eventually came together and I flew out on the 9th of May 2008 to Albuquerque via Atlanta. My impression on arrival was one of peace and tranquility. I loved my room which was warm and sunny and had a view of a mountain. As the area is semi-desert it is wide open space on a dirt road turning off Route 66. I was blessed to be on the retreat with a wonderful group of people. The chef, John, is amazing and made the preparation of the raw food dishes delicious and interesting. Susan, the director, is a gem with a kind and caring heart and a genuine love for the earth and its inhabitants. In a nutshell I had a wonderful time and an adventure I will always treasure. I would do it again if finances permit. "
