Minnetonka Alumni Scholarship

A Legacy of Support for the Class of 2027 and Beyond

The Minnetonka Alumni Association has long been proud to support teachers and host incredible alumni events. Now, we’re expanding our impact by giving directly to students. Beginning with the Class of 2027, we will offer an annual $2,000 scholarshipto a graduating senior pursuing further education or career training.

Our goal is to build an endowed fund of $50,000, ensuring this scholarship continues for generations of Skippers to come—without requiring future large-scale fundraising.

This scholarship is open to all graduating Minnetonka High School seniors, regardless of GPA, field of study, or financial need. Whether heading to a four-year university, community college, or trade program, eligible students may apply by submitting a short personal statement through our website or in writing. The recipient will be chosen through a blind, merit-based review process by the Minnetonka Alumni Association Board.

Funds will be paid directly to the recipient’s post-secondary institution, covering tuition-related expenses only. Applications will open in November 2026, with a recipient selected in April 2027.

Why It Matters

This scholarship represents more than financial support—it’s a way for alumni to honor our roots, recognize today’s students, and continue building the strong legacy of Minnetonka Public Schools. A simple donation today helps launch a lifetime of opportunity tomorrow.
