About the Foundation

The Foundation, a valued partner of the Minnetonka Public Schools, is governed by a nineteen-member Board of Trustees. Representatives from the Minnetonka Board of Education, District leadership staff and the Minnetonka Alumni Association also attend our board meetings. The Foundation is a registered, tax-exempt, non-political, non-profit organization independent of the Minnetonka Public Schools District.

Vision Statement:

The Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation is aligned with the District’s stated vision: Ensure all Minnetonka students envision and pursue their highest aspirations while serving the greater good.

Mission Statement:

Advancing Minnetonka Public Schools through strategic philanthropy.

The Minnetonka Public Schools Foundation secures community resources which support and fund innovative programs creating broad sustainable change in educating all Minnetonka students.
