Accreditation
All three of our aged care facilities are currently deemed by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency to be fully compliant with the 44 expected outcomes under the Accreditation Standards.
The Plains Retirement Village
A $4m improvement project was carried out in 2016/ 2017, incorporating works in the Aged Care Houses' communal areas, the creation of an extra 12 resident rooms in the Aged Care Facility, and upgrades to the village's Central Courtyard, Town Square and Cafe areas.
Beth Eden
A project to upgrade the Aged Care Facility, chiefly security, nurse call, nurse communication and audio visual systems, was carried out in 2016.
Janoah Gardens
A project to air condition the section of the Community Centre housing the Office and Reception areas was carried out in 2016.
Further improvements at Janoah Gardens are currently being explored.
