Each resident can have up to 2 visitors at a time. Visits can take place in a resident's room, or in outdoor common areas of aged care or the retirement village. Visitors must avoid indoor common areas of aged care, such as lounges or dining areas.
Outings with residents, either for the day or overnight, can now be arranged. You will need to provide brief details of the outing and complete some screening questions when you make a booking.
Everyone entering aged care needs to provide evidence of a current influenza vaccination (or medical exemption). This includes people entering aged care to escort a resident on an outing. This is a
government requirement, and Bethany Christian Care is not able to make exceptions to this.
We collect visitor information through the booking process to enable us to comply with public health directives related to aged care. The information will be used by employees of Bethany Christian Care in the carrying out of their duties. You may request access to this information by contacting Bethany Christian Care. Bethany Christian Care's Privacy Policy is available
here.
VIRTUAL VISITING
“Virtual visiting” is available to all aged care residents to stay in touch with friends and family who are unable to visit in person. Residents can book a time slot to have access to everything needed to “virtually visit” friends and family – a tablet with Wi-Fi and Skype or Zoom.
Book a time slot for your visit by following the links below for the resident’s aged care facility:
