Our Redbank Plains South campus is currently under development.
The location is extremely convenient - just along the Centenary Highway to the west of Greater Springfield, and near a soon-to-be-developed shopping centre and proposed railway station. It is also adjacent to a Christian school and opposite a conservation park.
In addition to a state-of-the-art, 100-bed Aged Care Facility (2020/ 2021) and associated infrastructure/ amenities, the campus is likely to include the staged roll-out (from 2020/ 2021) of independent and semi-independent 'retirement living' options.
During 2017, we carefully explored measures we could/ should take to ensure the new campus becomes what we aspire for each of our villages - an authentic Christian community. The opportunities to achieve that at Redbank Plains South are enhanced by the adjoining, already-well-established Christian school, Staines Memorial College.
While a school-village relationship represents a completely new model for us (and, indeed, for the school), we are excited by the potential synergies - and the resultant benefit to pupils and residents alike. We pray for Divine guidance as we lay the foundations for exploiting these advantages for God's glory and the extension of His kingdom.
The new village is expected to be amenity-rich, and to include Home Care services.
