Mr. Lichty started his career with Minnetonka in 1996. He holds undergraduate degrees in history and secondary education from the University of North Dakota, a master’s in education from Saint Mary’s University, and a master’s in school counseling from Minnesota State, Mankato. After spending 14 years as a classroom teacher, Mr. Lichty looks forward to working with Minnetonka students in a different arena. He gained his counseling experience at Buffalo Community Middle School and as a volunteer youth counselor at The Bridge for Runaway Youth in Minneapolis. Mr. Lichty and his wife Sheila have a son and a daughter.
