Adam Jorgenson joined the Minnetonka Middle School West staff in 2021. Before coming to West, he was both a school counselor and 5th grade teacher in the Minnetonka district, where he has been employed since 2001.  Adam holds a Master’s Degree in Education from the University of St. Thomas and earned his school counseling licensure in 2010 from Minnesota State University – Mankato.  Professionally, Adam is passionate about helping students and families find happiness and success on everyone’s own winding path. He specializes in helping students through anxiety and also in making sense of data to help pursue positive student outcomes. Personally, he enjoys sports and travel and spends much of his time with his family, whom he lives with in Excelsior.
