About Amanda Wavrin

• Joined MHS Faculty in 2017
• B.S. Child Psychology, University of Minnesota 
• M.S. School Counseling, Adler Graduate School 
• Prior experience at both the middle and high school level 
• At the high school level, planned and coordinated a school-wide advisory program to help students with post-secondary plans
• Strives to develop trusting relationships and monitor growth and success to help students reach personal excellence

Interests 

• Passion for working with students, families, and school staff
• Spending time with family, especially my husband, our two boys (Anders & Carter), and our dog (Toby)
• Reading, trying new restaurants with friends, and traveling 
• Cheering on some of my favorite sports teams (Go Gophers!)
