About Cassie Klein

• Joined MHS in 2020
• 15 prior years of experience supporting students at the high school level. This included teaching a college and career readiness class with a focus on helping 1st generation college students and serving as a school counselor. 
• She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities.
• She completed her master’s in school counseling from University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
• Her counseling approach is student-centered, and she believes in supporting the whole student through collaboration with families, staff and the community.

Interests

• Helping students transition to the high school, find connection through involvement, and discover passion areas through educational experiences.
• Spending time with friends and family (including her husband and 3 kids)
• Running, being outside, and traveling to new places.
