Dennis Dadashev
Dennis, Head Senior Coach at Minnetonka Swim Club, joined Minnetonka Swim Club in July of 2024. Prior to that he had helped with the Minnetonka High School Boys and Girls team which finished with a 2024 Girls State Championship. Prior to Minnetonka he has coached at multiple other high schools and one other Twin Cities club team.
Dennis has coached multiple high school All-Americans and was instrumental in placing an athlete on the 2025 USA Swimming Junior National Team - one of the highest achievements for club-level development. He has served the sport beyond his club, taking on multiple roles within Minnesota Swimming and representing the LSC as a coach for Team Minnesota at the Central Zones Championships.
Dennis is passionate about helping athletes reach new heights while fostering a team culture built on accountability, improvement, and belief. He’s driven by the opportunity to not only coach swimmers, but to mentor them on their path to becoming confident, disciplined individuals.
When he’s not at the pool, Dennis enjoys running, baking, and rooting for the Vikings and Timberwolves. He lives in Minneapolis with his partner Sydney and their yellow Labrador Retriever, Clover.
